While we strive to accommodate the information needs of students and faculty, please bear in mind that some journals are extremely expensive. At times, it is more cost-effective to interlibrary loan an article than to subscribe to a journal or database.

The Library has resources to help faculty publish articles and track citations.

JCR - Journal Citation Reports This link opens in a new window
Provides access to publishing data on academic journals. Content includes analysis on citation data, impact and influence matrices for journals in the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities.
Cabell's This link opens in a new window
Provides publishing information and data for academic journals in most disciplines.
This directory provides provides manuscript submission criteria, review process guidelines, and impact/influence metrics. It can be searched by journal title, paper title, publisher, discipline, or topic.
MLA Directory of Periodicals This link opens in a new window
Provides access to publishing data on journals and book series that fall within the scope of the MLA International Bibliography.
Content includes editorial addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, frequency of publication, descriptions of scope, circulation figures, subscription prices and addresses, advertising information, links to online content, peer review, and submission guidelines. Also included are statistics on the number of articles and book reviews published each year, as well as how many are submitted.
