The library's sensory-friendly room is located on the first floor of the library in room 117 on the far east side of the building.
From the front entrance turn right after you walk through the library gates. Continue to the far front corner of the building.
From the Starbucks entrance walk toward the front of the library, and turn left before approaching the front desk. Continue to the far front corner of the building.
Torreyson Library’s Sensory Friendly room is open to all students during the library’s open hours. All users are responsible for following this Code of Conduct, and patrons who violate these guidelines may be asked to leave the space. Problems should be reported by speaking to a library employee or using the library’s Report a Problem form.
Handle furniture and items with care.
Do NOT remove any library owned furniture or bring in furniture from other library areas.
Return all materials to their original location.
Take your personal belongings with you and throw away your trash when you leave.
The Library’s Sensory Friendly Room is not soundproof and is not designed for socializing or group meetings.
Please limit foods to light snacks and drinks.
