Bears at the Ballot

undefinedundefinedundefined

Bears at the Ballot is a campus chapter of Vote Everywhere, a national program administered through the Andrew Goodman Foundation. Vote Everywhere focuses on getting college students more closely involved with our political process through voter registration and civic engagement. Inspired by the efforts of Andrew Goodman during the Freedom Summer of 1965, our organization aims to continue Andrew's legacy by providing access to voting rights for any and all students.

Census data are used to make decisions about how and where to spend more than $800 billion each year for programs and services that communities rely on. The census population count is used to determine representation in Congress and the Electoral College. Simply put, communities that are undercounted are disadvantaged economically and politically.
